How to allow the microphone in your browser
Let your browser use your microphone so you can record.

The first time you record, your browser asks to use your microphone. Click Allow.
If you clicked Block by mistake
You'll see Could not start recording. Please allow microphone access and try again.
Chrome or Edge
- Click the icon to the left of the web address.
- Find Microphone and choose Allow.
- Refresh the page.
Safari (Mac)
- Click Safari → Settings for This Website (or Settings → Websites → Microphone).
- Set the microphone to Allow.
- Refresh the page.

If you see "No microphone found"
Plug in your microphone or headset, then try again. Check your computer's sound settings to make sure the right microphone is selected.
